So sad to learn of the passing of Gordon. He and Betty were our neighbours when we moved into Salehurst Road back in 1967. Together they showed great kindness which we appreciated. Happy memories. We moved back to the Midlands in 1973, and remained in touch mainly through the annual Christmas letters.
